THE LELS BENEVOLENT FUND PROVIDES SUPPORT AND FINANCIAL AID FOR THE FAMILIES OF LELS MEMBERS AND THE FAMILIES OF OTHER MINNESOTA PUBLIC SAFETY PROFESSIONALS, WHO ARE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY, REGARDLESS OF THEIR UNION MEMBERSHIP.
